Students convert the Maori word to English on their playing board.This game is self running either individually, as a group, or as a whole class. Either way, students find it entertaining, engaging and fun and is ideal for Maori Language week as well as all year round. I have included 2 versions of the game with this download. One, a beginner game with the answers appearing after 5 seconds and two, an advanced game that the students need to translate the Maori language independently or in small groups. The games can run on computers, whiteboards or projectors. All that is required is that you print, cut and laminate the Playing Boards and press shuffle and then start on the PowerPoint Show.
